The view from the room is awesome, just right at the mountain view! The breakfast is amazing, it's buffet, they offer bread, fresh eggs, fruits and yogurt, all you can eat. There is a bus station just right at the hostel, but we love the trail from the hostel to Grindelwald station, we enjoy walking there.

During the day there are far too many people, but when the gondol closed its magic. I just went for a hike and when you walk 500 m away from the hotel, its very peaceful. Best view ever and very nice staff

The staff works incredibly hard to make sure their guests are happy and treated well. The location was perfect - steps away from the "First" Chair access. The breakfast was solid, and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make us scrambled eggs and a cappuccino every morning. We will absolutely stay there again if we return to Grindelwald.
