We loved the Milk Factory. We had a beautiful room on the front of the building that had wonderful views. The room was large with a super comfortable bed. Breakfast was also wonderful and had everything we needed. There were lots of options to eat for dinner in walking distance. We loved it, one of the best hotels of our trip.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse.

This place far exceeded our expectations. You enter your room directly from the outside so you never bother neighbours. The exterior wall is mostly glass with beautiful views. The room is very comfortable and the beds had to be the best in the trip, even the floor was comfortable! The bathroom was large and had everything. We didn't miss a thing! And the shared spaces are marvelous too, the dining room is very pleasant and well equipped, you have a kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave as well as dishes and cutlery. The woman who prepares breakfast (she arrived as we left) was very helpful and agreeable too. I only wish our stay had been longer!

We traveled with 2 teenagers. Very good contact with the staff. Very large communal spacious kitchen. Despite the many guests, there was no problem with preparing a meal. Large clean bathrooms - we had no problem with accessibility. Quadruple room: large, comfortable, quiet, with a sink. The hostel is shoeless so it is very clean. Worth recommending.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean. And breakfast was plentiful! Also, great location and just a beautiful spot overall.

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull.

The rooms are fairly new, and spacious! Very comfy wool blakets and chairs and good wifi, it was actually nice to spend our evenings in the room after a long day of driving and hiking around. The dinner and breakfasts were ok, but not outstanding to write about.
