You need a car to get there as it is located just outside of Dijon. It is worth getting a car just to see the place: it is essentially a mansion just outside of a now derelict cement factory that they have artfully and tastefully integrated into their property. The grounds are large, dotted with places to lounge, relax and enjoy. The swimming pool (heated!) is worth using, also because it has been built into the remains of the old factory. The entire estate is tastefully done, with no expense spared. It is no surprise that the breakfast is super, too. Deserves the 10-Star rating and well worth a stay there.

Set on the banks of the River Cousin, this former 12th-century mill is located in Morvan Natural Regional Park. It offers a flowery terrace by the river side. The grounds were beautiful and the spa was a lovely feature. We were only there one night and the staff allowed us to use it beyond the stated hours which was so kind!

Este molino del siglo XVIII es ahora un hotel de 3 estrellas situado en la región de Borgoña. Ofrece un jardín en el corazón de un bosque, a orillas del río Cousin. Le Moulin Des Ruats was a wonderful surprise. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and easy to access. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast buffet was very nice with the option to order added items which we did not take advantage of. The staff was personable and helpful. They understood some English and appreciated our attempt at French.

Perfect place to stay in Vézelay situated at the entrance to the Village. Very comfortable with excellent well mannered staff. Nice views of the surrounding countryside.
