This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We got a very nice little house with everything we needed. The view was outstanding and the parking lot was right next the house.

Our room was the last one (Number 11 or 12, can't remember) and being on the corner It has 2 windows with a lot of light. There are 3 huge toilets with showers, very clean and organized. We didn't use the shared living room and kitchen but they seemed tò be very comfortable. You Need tò leave the shoes at the guesthouse entrance (Icelandic habit) so Better have comfy shoes tò put on/off. breakfast was Amazing. Both restaurants and rooms are very very hot (we were here in August) so better dress in layers.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... Amazing remote location, not far from the town Eglisstadir, the hosts were really helpful, it was clean and comfortable. We saw the Northern Lights that night at the guesthouse and it was really beautiful experience. I recommend this guesthouse for everyone who is traveling on the east side of Iceland.

Boasting a garden, Fjalladýrð Guesthouse is set in Modrudalur and also provides a bar and a shared lounge. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. It was the perfect place to stay. It was peaceful, stunning, the staff was so lovely and animals were running all around (the reindeer was so cute and asked to be petted). We really enjoyed the shared house (lazy town) we stayed at and we had delicious food at the restaurant. What a unique experience !

Set in Skjöldólfsstaðir, Hotel Studlagil offers 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, all rooms come with a desk. What didn’t I like…the stay was wonderful at Hotel Studlagil. The staff person was friendly and even shared a lovely conversation with us in the evening. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in this area of Iceland!

The Bank Sleeping Guesthouse in Neskaupstaður features a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. Perfect relaxing and affordable spot, plus the owner is amazing, definitely highly recommend it 😀😀

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. Simple room but very comfortable stay. Shared kitchen for camping Friendly owners and very beautiful view. There is a playground
