The location and view are amazing. Matera is a very challenging place to park, but we got great advanced information and a very convenient shuttle. The cave room is perfection. It is large and comfortable with a front patio area that contains a small table and chairs to admire the incredible view.

Hotel Martino offers stunning views over the Policastro Gulf, a heated indoor pool, and free lobby Wi-Fi. The seaside and the private beach are a 10 minute's walk away. Parking is free. The most beautiful view from the window of the hotel we stayed at, as well as the wonderful staff who made our honeymoon so special ❤️

Vetera Matera está muy bien situado en el barrio de Sassi di Matera, Matera, a 7 min a pie de Palombaro Lungo, a 300 metros de Matera Cathedral y a 8 min a pie de MUSMA Museum. We absolutely loved our stay at Vetera Matera. We had a very late arrival, around 11pm, and the staff were beyond accomodating. Our transfer shuttle met us at the packing garage and the communication was seemless. Giovanni was at reception upon check in, and was an absolute delight. Francesco was also very helpful, with wine and snacks ready when requested even at such a late arrvial time. Both were so proud of the hotel and the area, full of great tips and lots of history about the hotel and the area. Our room was amazing, we had a terrace which was so great to see the view late at night. The breakfast was lovely too, and we were sad we were only there for one night! Can not recommend this hotel enough. A great location to discover the town, with the friendliest of staff! (Fillipe who carried our bags up and down those stairs and drove us back to our car was amazing as well).

Spazio Gagarin Residence es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas situado en Matera, a 19 min a pie de Matera Cathedral y a 1,3 km de MUSMA Museum. Amazing!!!! less than 10 minutes walk from the very center of Matera (and what a city!!!!! ) in a quite área, the facilities are just amazing. I do not know who were the architect but turning the place in a comfortable, amazingly beautiful place is something. Pietro, our host, was not only a host. He was a friendly face, someone I would like to call family. Pietro, thanks a lot for everything. The best wishes and great success to you. I will keep on tell people and my family to visit Matera and to stay with you.

La Volpe e la Stella by Podere Carriero se encuentra en Montescaglioso, a 19 km de Casa Grotta nei Sassi y a 19 km de Matera Cathedral, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y... Good accomodation, Filomena the owner is a very nice person. Breakfast was very nice.

Palazzo Badiale history&rooms está en Atella, a 39 km de National Archaeological Museum, y dispone de servicio de check-in y check-out exprés, habitaciones libres de humo, jardín, wifi gratis en todo... Emilio is an exceptional great host. My boyfriend and I had a one-night stay in Palazzo Badiale on our way to Puglia and could have easily stayed longer. The nature surrounding the property is just beautiful and we enjoyed exploring it even more on our morning run. The breakfast in the morning in Emilios’s bakery is 10/10 and gave us the perfect taste of Italien delicates. I highly recommend staying here, also for longe periods when you want to unplug and relax.

Dimora Del Corso se encuentra en Rotonda y dispone de salón de uso común, terraza, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Me gustó todo. Tiene las comodidades de los mejores hoteles pero a la vez es como estar en la propia casa. Entras y te reciben como si fueras de la familia. Los desayunos son abundantes. Las habitaciones son luminosas. Se destaca la limpieza. El personal siempre está disponible para hacer de la estadía una experiencia inolvidable. Lo recomiendo
