We spent 2 nights at Royal Rock and had the best time! The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

The entire staff is kind and pleasant, and the service is incredibly efficient. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. There are plenty of options to spend extended time on-site, whether you want to enjoy the tranquility of nature or use the facilities like the gym, pool, or snooker table. We only wish we could have stayed more nights

They helped me arrange tours to the nearby Minneriya National Park and also helped with scooter rental. When I had an accident with the scooter, they were attentive and understanding. But best of all, the value you get for your money is incredible. The hotel rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, and the location is just 20 minutes drive from all the tourist activities in the area.

The location, the view, the quietness, the breakfast and everything else that Suriya’s wife is cooking… You can book this place eyes closed and enjoy! We were traveling with our three kids and instantly felt secured and almost as part of Suriya’s family ☺️

The best view of the lion rock and amazing surroundings. The rooms were very nice and very clean, breakfast and lunch were amazing! Staff was extremely helpful and can’t wait to go bask ! 💕
