The staff are what made it for us, they were so kind and lovely. We also enjoyed the traditional breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 se encuentra en Sarapiquí, a 33 km de Catarata La Paz y a 35 km de Jardines de la Catarata La Paz. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

La Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn se encuentra en Heredia, a 10 km del aeropuerto internacional Juan Santamaría, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante de granja a mesa, piscina de borde infinito... Mucha naturaleza y manejo del ambiente excelente

Casa del Cafe-Familiar está en Heredia, a 40 km de Parque Nacional Volcán Poás, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Los dueños del alojamiento muy atentos y con muy buena disponibilidad, la casa impecable, la habitación hermosa, muy cómoda y super limpia y el baño enorme. Te ofrecen desayuno típico de Costa Rica muy rico servido en su bello comedor. Estar ahi da paz y tranquilidad.

Villa Calas tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Vara Blanca. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar y jardín. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Las cabañas son hermosas por dentro y por fuera, los detalles como tener la madera y fosfos listos para encender la chimenea, tiene cafetera y un gran detalle un calentador eléctrico, porque hace mucho frío en las noches, pero están bien equipadas, me gustó mucho el lugar, la comida rica, la decoración con detalles agradables.

Eco Guest House- Sarapiquí 2 está en Sarapiquí, en la región de Heredia, y dispone de terraza y vistas a la montaña. Wendy’s place is incredible, a beautiful house, private and surrounded by nature. The nights were with perfect temperature and you sleep with the sound of nature, something we needed to get accustomed with. But we had the best sleep for 4 nights! We booked the full experience with breakfast and dinners brought dearly by Wendy’s mom, who was a bit like our mom too. If you speak a bit of spanish, this will stay as your favorite memory of the house, like for us. The waterfall of the neighbour’s property is also superb and had it just for us, is bigger than it looks on photos! We also saw some toucans from the balcony and hummingbirds. A little paradise we recommend to everyone.

Mirador Prendas tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Sarapiquí. Este alojamiento, que tiene habitaciones familiares, también ofrece zona de juegos infantil. The staff was very welcoming and always happy to help. The location is incredible, in the middle of the tree. The owner spent the evening talking to us and was very warm. The hotel is huge and the work done to build it is incredible - it truly is a piece of art.

Selva Verde Lodge tiene vistas al jardín y está en Sarapiquí. Cuenta con restaurante, mostrador de información turística, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. Most things are made in beautiful wood. . Stunning garden area, has even red eyed frogs just outside of the dining area. They have also man6 birds and some other animals in the area. We made the chocolate and pineapple tours which were really interesting. Also the Nighttours was quite interesting.
