The location was good, as we travelled from Australia, it was 5 minutes from the Airport, and a short walk to a Pub, which was excellent for food and close to some shops and coffee shops. the owners were fantastic and friendly.

The couple have 2 rooms they sell out in their home. It was very warm and comfortable. There are 2 shared bathrooms for use which were very clean. you can also use their kitchen which was well equipped. In a nice neighbourhood with good bus access to Newcastle city centre. The owner who checked us in was so so friendly and made us feel so welcome

    I stayed overnight as I had an early flight. 10 minutes walk from Newcastle Airport Metro. 10 minutes walk to pub/restaurant. Friendly welcome. Room was comfortable and clean. Excellent price for the location.

    WE have already completed an review of this place. No hot water in bathroom. No where to put toiletries. Loose toilet. poor towels. No hair dryer. No breakfast options even though it calls itself a bed and breakfast. The bed was low and did not look promising but was OK. The Badger around the corner was a great little pub for evening meals.

    Lovely little village.

    Lovely little village. The Diamond is right in the centre, next to the Church and the river. It could not be a nicer setting. The pub does not do evening meals but there are several good places to eat in the village. I ate at The Blackbird, a 17th century former abbots house round the corner from the Diamond.
