The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Best feature was staying in the park and being just a few minutes walk from HQ and the cafe. We had some power issues on the second night and third day but it was dealt with expeditiously. We didn't use it but there is laundry service available.

Dina and Robert were the nicest! They cooked really good dishes with the fresh vegetables from their garden at an affordable price (25 rm per meal). They also took us swimming in the river :)

The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.

El Mulu Marriott Resort está situado en medio de la vegetación natural y exuberante de la selva, cerca de la frontera entre Malasia y Brunei, junto al río Melinau Paku, en Miri. We loved our stay. A beautiful, peaceful setting, the price included buffet breakfast and dinner which were tasty, plentiful and catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, special call out for Donny, and professional. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The shuttle service to and from the airport and park was reliable, and there was good wifi in the bar/reception area.

Benarat Lodge está en Mulu y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año, jardín y salón de uso común. El lodge cuenta con un restaurante que sirve cocina malaya y cocina... Me sorprendió la calidad de la habitación y sobre todo del baño ya que en medio de la selva y estas zonas de malasia los baños hay que acostumbrarse a ellos. No es un hotel de lujo eso hay que tenerlo claro pero es más que suficiente para lo que se va Mulu. Anil una persona súper agradable y te recomienda muy bien que hacer en el parque y como organizar los horarios. Y sobre todo nos sentimos súper cómodos que es muy importante cuando quieres descansar después de las caminatas.
