The owner greeted us and was super happy, friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was easy to find and super handy to the airport for us.
The room was immaculate, super cosy and had everything we needed. There was no noise at all. Being right on the road and that close to the airport we hardly heard anything which was important for us to be able to get a good sleep.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back again regardless of whether we are flying or not.

Although the building was old, it was quirky. Clean, beautiful views and plenty of space, different areas to hang out. Great wi-fi and hosts were helpful. Heaters and heat pump did the job of keeping it toasty. Plenty of hot water.

Communication prior to arrival was very good, and our special requests were perfectly fulfilled. The reception by the lovely host was fabulous, and throughout our stay all the staff, including the cleaners, were helpful, kind, pleasant and easy to deal with. The room was on the small side, but it was quiet and had all the important things, like proper heating and all the necessary kitchen utensils. The cleanliness was exceptional! The bathroom was fab, with a spacious shower, a heated towel rail and additional heating! WiFi was great, and there was great parking free of charge, very important in Wellington.
We really enjoyed our time there, and I can highly recommend this place!

Ruth, the host lives behind the property and came to welcome us on arrival and gave us some helpful information and then left us to it. Ruth was also responsive to my request for help regarding the oven...that was more the operator that was the problem.🥴
The view is fantastic, right on the waterfront. There's no TV in the place but you don't need it cause you're always looking at the views. You can watch the planes arrive and the ferries do their crossing to and from the South Island. There is some road noise but Ruth has a water feature that helps with that, but you could turn it off if you like. There's no blinds facing the road so people on the road can see in. It didn't worry me though, the rooms are private. You have a choice of beds that range from quite firm to softer. I loved the colours in the bathroom. Well stocked kitchen. No microwave but has an oven, stovetop and double airfryer. Close to shops and takeaways within walking distance. It only took about 10 minutes to get to the airport. I would definitely recommend this property.
