Liana and the staff made us feel so at home during our stay. They were helpful and created an environment where all the guests could get to know one another, especially over the delicious food and drinks in the restaurant. Really sweet and accommodating hosts, the setting is otherworldly, it really feels like being on a different planet being surrounded by such a volcanic landscape. Peaceful sunrises with the singing sound of a couple buzzing bees and incredible sunsets, not to mention the night sky filled with stars. The house itself, situated just outside of Porto Novo, is beautiful and cosy too. The beach is right at the bottom and you can walk to the center by it.  We immediately booked another night here for our return to Porto Novo.

Pedra de Rala is located on the beachfront in Porto Novo. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.

Very friendly and very helpful and welcoming. Elho (I can't spell his name), the son of the owner was especially helpful. They also heated up my beans I bought from the shop and gave me onions and a delicious piece of cake with cream. They didn't have to do this and this shows how kind and welcoming they are. Thank you for a great time!
