I absolutely loved this small hotel! It’s simple, but its location right by the beach makes it truly special. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the ocean view was amazing. The atmosphere was peaceful, and our host Sashi was so friendly and welcoming. Every day, we were treated to a different delicious breakfast, which made our stay even more special. Plus, we could always count on Sashi for help—such a kind and attentive person! This hotel is a true hidden gem by the beach. Highly recommended! :)

I travel to Sri Lanka very often because it is my favourite destination, and this is my first visit to Villa Sidu. For me without doubt one of the best places that I have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. In Villa Sidu you are guaranteed the best Sri Lankan hospitality. It is owned and run by Himali, her husband Janaka, and also supported by daughter and son. It is a family orientated place to relax and enjoy. This family go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoy. Always willing to help and guide you to enjoy the surroundings. This accommodation is in Induruwa, and it is a peaceful village between the busy tourist hotspots Bentota and Hikkaduwa. Beautiful spacious, clean rooms with a balcony if you are on a top floor. There are AC rooms and well as non AC. Breakfast is also included, it is one of the finest breakfast to enjoy. If you like why not speak to Himali or Janaka and enjoy Sri Lanka’s tasty rice and curry. Don’t take my word, just try it. If you are looking for the Indian Ocean, look not far, it is just meters away from Villa Sidu. We like Villa Sidu so much, after an exhausting tour round Sri Lanka, we came back to Villa Sidu to enjoy and relax. We take this opportunity to thank Himali, Janaka and family for making our holiday comfortable than we expected. In our opinion Villa Sidu is a hidden Gem in Sri Lanka. Villa Sidu is not expensive at all.

Our stay at Ahu Bay was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking, set between two bays with panoramic ocean views that create the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — fresh, carefully prepared, and always cooked to perfection. What truly sets Ahu Bay apart, however, is the quality of its staff. I was hesitant at first because this was my first time trying a 'local' hotel brand. But I can now say without hesitation that this hotel is amazing - it far exceeded my expectations. I arrived at 7am with my kids exhausted and sleeping. No problem - the staff were able to check me in early. Clean, cozy, comfortable rooms. No fuss at all. So immediately, my impressions were positive. The beach is amazing - powdery sand, clean and right in front of the property. Quite simply a world class beach. The pool is amazing - at just the right temperature. And with separate kids pool. Kids facilities- amazing. They have a fully equipped indoor play area, with several staff in attendance. Breakfast was good - full range of local and western foods available. Yes, all of it was amazing. And I don't often give compliments when they aren't deserved. But above all, it is the staff that really blew me away. Kind. Friendly. Warm. Professional. They really put us and the kids at ease. The service they provided really put 5 star international hotel brands to shame. I'll remember this hotel for a long time, and wouldn't hesitate coming again.

We had an amazing stay at the Long House. The grounds, pool and hotel are beautiful. The rooms are large, clean and ours had a beautiful outside shower. We decided to go half board, and would thoroughly recommend. The choices were lovely, with a good mix of traditional and Western dishes. The staff are amazing, especially the restaurant staff. We couldn't recommend the Long House anymore!

On our last night, we stayed at Lucky Prince Villa and were welcomed by a very friendly family. We had some issues with our motorcycle, and the owner kindly helped me find someone to repair it for a very small cost. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend staying here and ordering the breakfast
