The hotel is absolutely new. Our room was spacious, fresh, and very clean, with a nice and well-maintained bathroom. If I ever visit Arugam Bay again, I would definitely stay here again — out of all the hotels in this price range, this one is the best! The hotel is run by a very polite and kind family who made us feel welcome. The location was excellent — on the main road, within walking distance to cafes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to the beach, but you can also walk to it (20 minutes) It was quiet at night, and we had a very peaceful stay. There’s also a lake next to the hotel, where elephants sometimes come to drink — a beautiful sight to witness. All guest rooms are located on the second floor. They also plan to open a restaurant soon on the ground floor.

Owner and the staff are very kind people, full of joy and thoughtful. We spent the evening chatting together. They offer us the dinner and gave the best room since we were the only guests. Very good price, close to beach and authentic with hammock and coconut. Perfect for relaxing in the nature. Super recommended.

Would you like to experience paradise? We did! Eco Aloevera Garden is a place where you may see see the beautiful empty beaches, wonderful sea landscape and such a unique atmospere! Great place to visit out of the tourist season - which we did, March was great choice. The owner and stuff soooo friendly, meeting all the needs. Local meals provided based on our preferences, so delicious! Great clean, cosy little houses in shady garden filled with beautiful palm trees. We just live it all :)

This is by far the best accommodation we’ve been to in Sri Lanka. Even though some people avoid this area during February as it’s considered low season, we had the best experience. It was quiet, sunny and relaxing. Anna and Nicolo are the best hosts and help out with whatever you need; surfing, safari, transport, etc. Their restaurant has delicious traditional pizza, pasta and more. Besides that, we saw a whole range of wildlife in the area, including free roaming elephants and crocodiles. After 3 nights I decided to extend my stay in Sri Lanka and come back for another full week at Whisky Point. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Waters. It was very peaceful and amazing to have the beach to ourselves. The staff were very helpful and all of the food was delicious. If you are looking to unwind, Blue Waters is a great place to relax!

This was such an amazing place to stay. Location was perfect , very close to the beach & restaurants. The room was spacious , the bed very comfortable and with a mosquito net. Plus a large bathroom with hot water. The highlight of the stay was the delicious breakfast. It changed daily and over the 3 days we were there we had banana pancakes , hoppers and a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of Dhal curry and coconut Sambal ( the best we had in Sri Lanka ) This was served with a fresh juice and coffee. Great value for money . I highly recommend bay dreams we hope to return one day soon !

Stay Golden has been one of our favourite stays of our entire time in Sri Lanka. Beautiful bungalows/apartments, the sweetest staff (our kids still miss them) and delicous and healthy food available from 8 AM until 9 PM. What we really liked was that there were always several families staying here and that the owners was also pretty much always around with their family, it created a nice and homely vibe in which we felt very welcome. Big thanks to Rihan and Angie and we hope to visit again some day!

    Amazing location next to a beach. Loved resting in a hammock with an ocean view. Everything is clean and nice. Murali cooks really good. His food was very tasty. Uncle Sella and Murali were very helpful and great hosts. In two months we are coming back!

    Since it was far from the city and you were next to the beach, we walked to Whiskey Point to surf. The place is to go to rest for two days away from the noise of Arugam Bay. I love the place and the gay work there.

    A nice cabin right at the beach. There was a strong current. For surfing we had to walk on the beach for half an hour, it was wonderful there. The staff was great. We had great conversations with Raj, he helped us with everything we needed. Even when we had to withdraw money, we were driven back and forth by tuktuk.Morelli cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners for us every day. A very talented chef.Raj provided live music in the evening. All in all, 4 wonderfully relaxing days

    I really loved the location and the beautiful peaceful garden. The bungalows are big and clean. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Whiskey point is 2mn away and the surfing beach Pottuvil point is 15 mn walk away on the beach. The owner organised homecooked dinner by his mother which was delicious.
