Beautiful quiet private beach. Clear water, good for snorkeling. Salang is much quieter than the other villages on Tioman island, so you get a real island experience with the locals. There are shops with everything you may need and many restaurants with great, affordable food. There are a few scuba shops and schools that will take you out on scuba excursions to the coral reefs. Ella was a great host.

A slice of paradise! All staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. Resort is only 2 months operational and beautifully situated on a private stretch of beach. With only 30 rooms it feels secluded and homy. Definite recommend!

Lovely chalet with en-suite bedrooms and spacious living area and balcony. Stunning views! Wonderful staff who looked after us and helped arrange snorkelling trips, boats, taxis, etc for us. Great food for breakfast and superb Malaysian cuisine for evening meals.

We were 6 friends travelling, and our experience at Dumba Bay was amazing. Rooms were clean and confortable. 2 couples were in the « bubble » rooms and 1 in the cottage. We didn’t have the sea view but honestly the garden is well maintained which makes a nice view. Plus, all the cottage are close enough to the sea anyway. The location of the resort was perfect, not too close and not too far from the jetty. What they did with the place is really great. The bar and coffee on the beach are really enjoyable. Huge shoutout to all the staff and in particular Donny. He made our experience even more pleasant, thanks to the amazing seabass he cooked on the grill. He also has great advice, is very nice and I have to say he is a great DJ. Thank you all for this moment out of time, in your little paradise. We’ll come back for sure !

Realy nice place. Good room and close to adorable beach. Breakfast taste good and staff so friendly.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Kampong Juara, Permata Beach Chalet is a chalet surrounded by views of the garden.

The location was wonderful, the picture of the chalet is true. We sleep with the noise of the waves!! There is activities, restaurants and few mini markets on this side of the island. Positive point for the air con in the chalet !
