Staff in the swimming areas and restaurants were very attentive. The food in the onsite restaurant - Peridot - and room service was delicious and had a lot of variety, you will definitely not run out of options. Excellent swimming pool facilities. Our room seemed very new and well-maintained, with full amenities.

It is no exaggeration at all when I (and others on here) say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at (and I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many lovely hotels around the world). Absolutely everything was perfect. Every single member of staff (a mix of Omanis and international staff from so many countries) was beyond efficient and so friendly. I felt they took even extra care of me as I was staying alone (Shukran!) and their care and attention to detail was second to none! I didn’t meet the manager Mr Karim but would like to thank and congratulate him on running such an exceptional hotel. Among the many wonderful staff who all work so hard, special mentions to Suresh who checked me in in the early hours, Renuka who cleaned my room so meticulously, Schola the restaurant hostess who was very informative and gave me the best table for the Christmas Day brunch! Khine also a restaurant hostess who was lovely to chat too on my final evening and so helpful too and Kolthum who checked me out, such a lovely lady. El-Mostafa in the restaurant, Khalid who picked me up at the airport (plus the driver who took me back there), the restaurant staff in all the restaurants, the wonderful chefs and the beach attendants. The Chedi’s design is amazing. Beautiful grounds (they even have peacocks!), so tranquil, so clean, many dining options and wonderfully designed rooms. I can see why it’s a Leading Hotel of the World and has so many awards and accolades. Thank you Chedi Muscat for an unforgettable Christmas holiday!

Definitely, without any doubt, the best hostel in Muscat at the moment. The owner and the employee Brahim are exquisite and friendly people, ready to make you feel comfortable and at home. The common room is wide and with comfy couches where you can lie down and relax, talking with the other guests. Rooms were fine, comfy beds with lockers as well where you can put inside your bag. Bathrooms were good and spacious. Nothing fancy, but It's good for a hostel considering also the price. There is a kitchen as well where you can cook or have a black tea or coffee. Free water, tea and coffee. There is an outside area where you can chill as well. I've seen other hostels in Muscat and this one is surely the best one atm.

Excellent staff. Friendly, professional and great with kids. Spacious, modern rooms - possibly the biggest standard room out of any of the 5 star hotels in Muscat. And the best feature of the hotel. Tasteful, 'seaside resort' design elements throughout which immediately puts you in holiday mood. 2 big swimming pools. Plenty of other facilities, e.g. 2 separate gyms, kids play area, spa with steam room and sauna etc. Many dining venues, although all are high-end establishments (as expected at a 5 star hotel). Overall, in my view, this hotel is setting a new benchmark in Muscat.

Location is excellent Hotel is brand new so everything is in top condition. The rooms are great (we had the ocean view deluxe). The pool is excellent, cooled and clean. The breakfast was high quality and had a good variety. The water pressure is excellent. Every detail has been thought through.
