The owners are very friendly, and the place is organized with great taste. You feel like you’re visiting old friends.

The location is excellent. Situated in a quaint and central village and right across from the bus stop and a beach along the river where one can swim. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world. The family who owns and manages this hotel go out of their way to serve their guests. We did not have a car while there and didn’t need one. Between the buses and the seasonal train, we were covered and able to go where we needed to go. The highlight was renting bikes and cycling through the villages and sampling wines along the way.

The house is beautiful and well equipped, the host has thought of everything. But really everything! The garden is wonderful. Close to the Danube, Schwallenbach is a very nice village. We were staying in Apt 1 and got clear guidance how to reach to the place, is really hidden gem for people looking some nature and quiet stay. House is adorable and has everything, newly and warm equipped, kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, coffee machine. Even though really warm days it is cool inside and fresh. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and heuriger. We had really wonderful stay and long weekend that want us to be back to Spitz again.
