Amazing view of the ocean (just a few steps away), with a double rainbow (because it had recently rained), and spinning windmill in the background. Included access to laundry machine, free items in the fridge, general access to the whole house were great to have. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Wished I could have stayed another day to enjoy the cafe and watch the sunset when it wasn't cloudy.

The location is simply stunning, the guesthouse sits peacefully on the seafront of tranquil Mukaishima Island, surrounded by lush vegetation and easily accessible by car. It's the perfect destination if you're cycling along the Shimanami Kaido. Youko is an incredible host, warm, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for bike rentals, local restaurants, and activities, and every day left thoughtful notes at reception highlighting events happening in the area. When we accidentally left our backpack (with passports inside!) at the guesthouse, she promptly mailed it to our next destination without hesitation. Our 8-year-old daughter, Alice, loved the play area in the communal dining space, bouncing on the trampoline in the garden, and meeting the resident animals: friendly sheep, two charming cats, and Maroon, the adorable dog. The property itself is spotless. We stayed in one of the Japanese-style rooms, which felt spacious by Japanese standards, and offered spectacular views over the bay. The rooftop terrace was another highlight for us. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here, it’s truly a special place.

Guest House Diphylleia Grayi se encuentra en Hatsukaichi, a 19 km de Parque Memorial de la Paz de Hiroshima y a 19 km de Monumento de la Paz de Hiroshima. Everything was absolutely perfect. Staff made the stay so much more enjoyable by being so incredibly sweet and helpful. Their recommendations about the area really helped us spend our days in the best way possible. I will recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the local culture. This, of course, isn’t a luxurious hotel, but it isn’t supposed to be that either. It’s more like a comfortable second home, that you truly feel the warmth of.

Hagi No Yado Tomoe está muy bien situado en el barrio de Hagi Onsen-kyo, Hagi, a 12 min a pie de Playa de Kikugahama, a 1,8 km de Shokasonjuku Academy y a 1,8 km de Shoin Shrine. This is a gorgeous inn. So serene and beautiful. Very nicely built with beautiful gardens visible from hallways and rooms. Staff was super friendly and the kaiseki dinner was fantastic. Really loved this place and could see why it has been in business for 100 years.

Great view and location in central Shimanami expressway. Excellent kitchen with complete appliances and cookware! We cooked everyday. Nice shower and bathtub. You can run or bike from the house, with very few cars on the road in the island.

House (101) was very clean and well furnished. There was floor heating, a sauna, and heating units in every room. The washing machine had a dryer function. The kitchen was well stocked and had a microwave/oven and a dish washer. Very close walk to Izumo Temple.

So much peace. Everything is well thought out, modern and extremely well Equipped. The host was absolutely amazing even left us with a breakfast set and helped make reservations for a dinner. Would have loved to stay longer!!

East Villa Shimanami Mukaishima seafront se encuentra a 4,4 km de Saikon-ji Temple y ofrece jardín y terraza, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. Kazu and Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided us with great recommendations of local restaurants/shops and activities. Very clean with great sea view. Comes with a free parking space which is a bonus.
