The restaurant was closed during our visit due to it being off-season (late September) but the breakfast buffet was served in the restaurant and had a customary Icelandic spread (fruit, meats and cheeses, assorted bread, tea, and coffee). The atmosphere was very welcoming with the hosts and it was a beautiful and relaxing rustic setting. I highly recommend!

The bed and pillows were comfortable - truly important on a long trip. Room and shower were warm enough. It was in a perfect location - close to many restaurants. The pantry was well-equipped with free-flow cereal! The full-height windows were great for us to admire the scenery when it started snowing.

We loved the Milk Factory. We had a beautiful room on the front of the building that had wonderful views. The room was large with a super comfortable bed. Breakfast was also wonderful and had everything we needed. There were lots of options to eat for dinner in walking distance. We loved it, one of the best hotels of our trip.
