Welcoming, the room was wonderful. You would never have known it was -10oC outside. The extra little touches, hints of teas and coffee from all around the world and hot chocolate. The bed was just amazingly comfortable, I walked not 4 minutes around the corner to a Thai restaurant/cafe, which served delicious food with a cup of chai. I took advantage of the airport shuttle service offered, 05:30 I asked for and we chatted the entire journey. What a fantastic host with a lovely home and rooms available. Thank you

What an amazing interior design! The house, a rebuilt cow shed, has a fantastic atmosphere. Free coffee/tee throughout the day, one can even book a hot tub outside and watch aurora in the night. Very pleasant and friendly hosts. As we had to wake up early before the vreakfast, we were allowed just to snatch some food from the fridge.

The accommodation was exactly what I was looking for. It was very clean and maintained to a high standard. Hanna Maria answered any queries I had promptly and gave me some good advice about how to get around. There is a local bus (no 55) which stops a few streets away, but it was very cold and windy the day I arrived so I took a taxi from the airport. I did however take this bus into Reykjavik one day and it came on time. It's more reasonably priced than taking the FlyBus shuttle from the airport. The room I stayed in was nice and cosy and perfect for one person. It was useful to have the Extra24 supermarket just up the road too, which is open all night! The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and the communal area was nice, with a large dining table and a tv, for anyone who wants to use that room. I went in November. I was originally booked to go earlier in the year, when the weather would have been warmer, but had to postpone my trip. Not too far from the guest house is the Duus Museum, which I can highly recommend, and, for anyone with children, there is Giganta's cave, home of a character in the story of Sigga and the Giantess, by the Icelandic author Herdís Egilsdóttir!

Absolutely loved this place! The kitchen was fantastic, though the coffee and tea drawers were a bit messy. The coffee machine needs clearer instructions—it wasn't working well and was quite loud, not ideal for early mornings. Yet, the water kettle was superb! The whole place felt like home from the moment I stepped in. The room was cozy and clean, perfect for a night's stay. Outside, two guests were a tad loud getting keys, but it didn't spoil our experience. Shower amenities were a bit sparse, but it was all good. We wished we could've stayed longer in beautiful Iceland! Highly recommend this spot; it's just 5 minutes from the airport and close to supermarkets like Kronan and Bonus.

Everything was clean, I was impressed by the quality of bathroom, even though it was for a common use, it felt like in an expensive hotel, the breakfast was also very good and with the variety of dishes

I really liked our stay at this guesthouse! The host is amazing, we talked about Iceland and situation in the world, so I was pleased to meet such a great woman. Our room was good and clean, so we had a good sleep. The location is near the airport, so it's really convenient. Also the host offered us to have breakfast! And then helped us to get to the car rental. And her lovely dog is asome too!
