I stayed at Mudanwan Villa in January 2023. I was absolutely delighted by the experience. The resort was breathtakingly beautiful, the staff extremely kind and helpful, and the food exquisite. This may be the most beautiful and tranquil resort in Taiwan, and has a unique tropical atmosphere not able to be found at other high end resorts. The hot springs in particular were quite exceptional. You could strongly feel the high mineral content in the water, and the theraputic quality on the skin. The villa I stayed at was well appointed with both indoor and outdoor springs, which were a pleasure to use, especially in the ambient tropical garden outside. The architectural standard and design of the villa was also extremely beautiful - a rare combination of classical Japanese and Aboriginal Taiwanese elements with chic contemporary style. I was also very lucky to have the incredibly kind support of the staff, who went above and beyond their duties to assist with our wellbeing and comfort. I could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay.

Fantastic place! We loved it so much we changed plans and stayed 1 more night. First of all - great design. These concrete walls with wooden floors and green flowers made it such nice place to spend time. It was quiet, clean, comfortable, with the sea just across the street. There are rooms with see view and there is a terrace on the roof, so it's all you need to have a relaxing stay. And then you'll get the best breakfast in Taiwan: a beautiful plate with rich meal, balanced with fruits and (a bit thin) coffee in a colorful pottery. Such a small thing, but so different from all those crappy B&Bs we have visited. I fully recommend to stay here and get some rest.

Modern, spacious, very comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. Archie and his girlfriend were extremely helpful and interesting to talk to. They obviously take a lot of pride in their B&B. Also…breakfasts were delicious !

Spacious rooms with a lovely balcony and view into the green fields. Quiet spot not too far from.town. The lovely Kevin gave us a lift to the train station and would have picked us up if we had called. Cute cats everywhere.

Incredibly nice staff providing everything from recommendations over little snacks to even free bikes. This is amazing! Also the hotel itself is a winner. It's just usually 10mins walking to whatever you wanna do, but that's not a biggie compared to all the pros. Would definitely book again here.

This accommodation is an easy walk to the town and located in the middle of onion and rice fields. The room is spacious and the bathroom is modern. Breakfast is provided in the main building. The owners directed us to a tasty Taiwanese restaurant for dinner. We stored our bikes without any problems. We had a great conversation via Google translate

This B&B is located in a rural area, away from the touristic areas. Perfect for us, but maybe not for everybody. You need transportation to get to shops and restaurants. The room and bathroom are spatious and clean. The wifi is good as is the breakfast. The staff was very friendly, a real bonus.

It was perfect! The hosts are wonderful and will help you with anything. They also have an adorable dog, so that's a plus as well. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also equipped with ac, which is nice in the Taiwan summer. Breakfast was exceptional and a little different each day.
