The music was great. Glad to have an elevator with our large suitcases and the room was freshly made up for us again the next day. Beautifully appointed and clean. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. It met our needs perfectly.

Whitewater Shopping Centre, the Curragh Racecourse and Newbridge Silverware are less than a 10 minute drive away. Very friendly people. We had a nice stay at the Silken Thomas. The rooms were spaceous. We had 2 rooms on the top floor in the Postmasters House. We were travelling with 3 kids and therefore we had 2 rooms. The beds were good, and the rooms were very clean. The kids were very fond of the bunk bed.

The Dining Room serves traditional and continental breakfasts, which feature homemade chutneys, banana bread and scones. Afternoon tea can be taken in the elegant Drawing Room. This fine establishment maintains all the charms of a traditional manner house, yet the interiors of the guest rooms are all refurbished, modernized, clean, neat, and beautiful. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. We stayed a total of 4 nights here and enjoyed our stay very much.

There is a bus stop opposite Donnybrook Hall, with regular Aircoach services running to and from the airport and the city centre. Luggage storage is available at the hotel.

This family-run guest house has rooms with good-quality beds, mattress hygiene care and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a comfortable sitting room for guests to relax in. Absolutely wonderful place. I had a very rough day of travel and didn't arrive until much later than expected. I was stressed but the gentleman who checked me in was very calming and the vibe of the building was stellar. Felt homey, I wish I stayed longer
