Comfortable beds, tea pot in room, beautiful garden sitting area - all was perfect. Friendly staff. Also good location - 5 min walk to beach, and a lot of good cafes and resturants around. We stayed here for 2 nights and then try to go to other place, but we return to stay one more night because its most comfortable place.

They went above and beyond by helping arrange tuk‑tuks, and transfers, you name it—with helpful, local insider knowledge . The owner, who is the chef of the embedded small restaurant, prepared for us three meals of a barracuda I've caught. It was the most scrumptious barracuda we've ever eaten in our lives! Sri Lankan breakfast was great, too! Even if it is a small hotel, there was someone their to take care of guests 24/7. We had a couple of very nice conversation and discussions with the owner! Beach is very near! You can see fishermen nets pulled out a couple of times a day. A couple of small shops and a barber are only some 150 - 200 m away, bigger shops and a number of stalls only some 10 minutes walk away.
