We had a great stay with Naca and his husband. They help us with everything, we arrive to Manado the independence day of Indonesia and there wasn't boats to Bunaken. We contact them and they get a private boat for us(not expensive). When we arrive to the island she was waiting for us on the pier. The room is a really cute and clean bungalow 1min walking from the sea. Get the pack of food with her, it's 150k per person, 3 meals and each meal with 3-4 different dishes. We try other places and the food wasn't even close to the food that she prepare( proper Indonesian food, not for tourist). Thanks for this amazing days, we will be back for sure!

The staff at the desk, so helpful. We checked in after 11pm. Room was large, bed very comfortable, a/c great, shower excellent.

Istanaku is located in the centre of Manado, a 10-minute drive from the Mega Mall and the Manado Town Square. IT offers a restaurant, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Very clean, smiling, supportive staff, great location. Breakfast was more Asian style but still very tasty. Very good value for money, highly recommend!

Very nice bungalows in front of mangrove-beach. The food was amazing, they make a different variety of fish, meat, vegetables everyday. We enjoyed our diving course, and were in good gands with the professional staff. Our diving teacher was Connor from England, so there were no language barriers as well.

Reinhard and Marta are wonderful hosts; they are very kind and can help you with everything. We had amazing chats with them. We also loved the location of the accommodation, as you can visit many places from here, such as Paal Beach and Lihaga Island. Breakfast was delicious. The accommodation is very basic and fully immersed in nature, which is also very nice if you're looking for an authentic experience.
