It was the perfect holiday for us, we stayed 5 days, with older children 10 and 16. They appreciated the pool table and air hockey which meant we had an actual break! It was lovely and peaceful, there was Netflix so we relaxed as a family in the night, it was great we couldn’t ask for more.

Mews is exactly as described. Everything we needed for our short stay. Location is in a quiet area just a short drive into Kilkenny and surrounds. Mel the host was very communicative and answered all our questions very quickly.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff were easily available during the opening hours of the pub and very friendly and forthcoming. One night there was a Problem with the WiFi and I was promptly informed and an alternative solution was suggested. Location of the place is fantastic. Right next to the train station and seven minutes on foot from the city center. On the way down to the river there are a lot if different pubs, restaurants and cafes. So it's possible to enjoy breakfast at a different place everytime.
