Host give all the appropriate info and was correct. Collecting the keys was simple. The apartment was above expectations. It is spotless and equipped with everything one can ask for. Located in a quiet village with super surroundings for walks or bike rides. The private inside parking is a bonus. EVERYTHING WAS SO CLEAN SO Lovely! Also swimming pool included! I am afraid the staff at the reception and communication in general could be a bit more polite and easier but orherwise amazing experience!

Every now and then you stay in accommodation that makes you wish you were able to live in permanently, and consider redecorating your own house. This is one of those places. The owners have exquisite taste in terms of decor, and at the same time have created a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Small details (you can try their impressive tea collection and enjoy the equally impressive record and CD collection) make this so much more than just another hotel/apartment. The staff in the cafe downstairs are very friendly, and for a drink and something light to eat I would not bother going anywhere else. Vianden is a lovely town to walk around, visit the castle or do a bit of hiking.
