This place is amazing, the location is flawless, with nature everywhere and the permanent sound of the cascade which makes it very special. We stayed in one of the bungalows which had two nice bedrooms and a big bathroom; it also had a big terrace with a hammock and some sofas to chill. The place also has a pool which is very convenient to refresh and relax in order to beat the heat. The staff was very nice and they can make you dinner if requested in advance, very tasty dishes. We totally recommend this place, we will be back!

I stayed with this lovely mountain ecolodge for 2 nights, short stay yet I have to say that the experience was really fantastic! Fabulous mountain vibes, simple but tasted breakfast, dedicated and well-designed lunch menu, warm-hearted staffs, 24 hrs nice-flowing hot water, easy to arrive from the town/airport (no more than 40 mins)…Everything is prefect and I do wish to come back again with my family! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Residencial Tamarindos, a charming hotel located on the beautiful island of São Tomé and Príncipe. While the hotel may not be the largest in the area, it certainly makes up for its size with its warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Residencial Tamarindos is its affordability. Considering the nice location and the amenities provided, the prices are quite reasonable for the islands. The dining options at the hotel are realy exceptional. Each meal I enjoyed was a celebration of local flavors, expertly prepared and presented. What truly sets Residencial Tamarindos apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly and eager to assist, making me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, and they were always available to provide recommendations or help with any questions 😊

We wanted nature and a beach option within walking distance. The shopping and dining options nearby were suitable for us with 3 km walk (one way). To drive into the city, it is about a 20-minute walk through the backland to the road where the yellow taxis drive at regular intervals. The way to the house is only for experienced off-road vehicle drivers and despite the polite warnings here, it exceeded our expectations :D Our recommendation: Request a pick-up service for arrival/departure and buy the first important things in the supermarket when you arrive. The rest can be obtained in the villages. Our room was spacious and had its own bathroom. There was a common area (lounge/couches/dining area) and a kitchen. All rooms were clean and well maintained. Cleaning staff came regularly. Everyone is very polite and accommodating. We felt richly gifted, as there are other beaches very close (only few steps through the hedge). In addition, there are fantastic shopping facilities (fruit/vegetables, beer, fresh fish) in Mikolo but also street restaurants to buy fresh fish, octopus, mussels. The fishing village of Mikolo is well known on the island. Since the designated restaurants on googlemaps only open after 6 p.m., they were not really an option for us. We did not find the footpaths in the dark desirable. Except for a few days we were alone in the accommodation. The house dog is very sweet and always hungry 😊 (I was shockingly in love and there was daily morning exercise together at sunrise). We highly recommend this accommodation for a longer stay. Portuguese/French are very welcome & helpful.

The House is very spacious and in a quiet gentle neighborhood ( 5 minutes by motorbike/car from the center). Everything was very clean, secure and there is a garden and seating area. Kitchen is fully equiped.

Fernando was an excellent host, picked us up and brought us again to the airport and was very nice. The small apartment is very clean, in a very convenient location a few minutes from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was also great in the patio in the garden. Thank you for the excellent homemade juices!
