Riverside La Masía Ecohotel está en Quindío, a 44 km de Ukumari Zoo, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y bar. This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. Un apartamento con lo necesario para cocinar y alojarse con privacidad y comodidad. Cerca de todo. Cruzando la calle hay un ARA y a dos cuadras de la terminal de Salento. Muchas gracias al señor Belisario y su familia por su amabilidad y disposición.

Hostal Villa del Sol, que está a 47 km de Ukumari Zoo y a 36 km de Jardín Botánico de Pereira, ofrece habitaciones en Salento. We loved our stay here! The location is great - close to the main square and restaurants, but quiet in the evening. Our room was on the main road and whilst there was some occasional noise in the night, this is unavoidable and didn’t impact us. The view from the courtyard is incredible. The room itself was very clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and we had plenty of blankets to keep warm as the temperature dropped in the night. There was soap provided in the bathroom which we didn’t expect for the price! Our room wasn’t cleaned during the 3 night stay but it was offered to us (I.e. not done automatically but on request). We didn’t make use of the communal kitchen, but it’s great to have the option to make your own food. There is also a mini mart next door so this would be very easy! Also a nice perk that coffee and water are free. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming - they helped us with recommendations, taxis, and even did some laundry for us for no charge. Diego in particular was always very attentive!

La atención recibida por Alejo. Estaba bastante limpio. Calle tranquila para dejar el vehículo. Sin escaleras. Recomendamos comer cerca en el restaurante 'La Gustosa'.

Quite neighbourhood but still close to city center. If you are looking for rest after long day, that’ll it. In house was everything we needed. Communication was great.

Arboleda Real Hospedaje, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con jardín y balcón a unos 19 km de Parque Nacional del Café. Great location and value. There is a small gym literally one block away that was great.
