We liked the hospitality and warmth of the Host. Food was freshly cooked and taste was excellent. Room size, cleanliness, balcony view, toilet facilities, hot water facilities were superb. Mr. Nima and Madam were so nice and kind to look after the guests with highest sincerity and warmth. I would say they are exceptionally good host. We really were so happy and felt like home, as if we were part of the family.

Daragaon Retreat (Gurung Homestay) tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Pelling. Cuenta con restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín, terraza y zona de juegos infantil. We had the most wonderful stay here. The family was so kind and welcoming to us. We arrived during Diwali and were given opportunities to participate in the Sikkimese celebrations in the quaint town of Darap. The food was healthy, nourishing, and delicious. The chai was some of the best we had, it was such a joy to sit on the comfortable seating outside our cottage that overlooks the valley and Darap. Mr Shiva arranged a wonderful half day local guide to take us into the valley and villages to explore the native flora and culture. We would wholeheartedly recommend this homestay.

Lovely room, huge bed, very comfortable. Comfy settee and chairs. Lovely balcony, with views over the garden and towards the mountains, although cloudy whilst we were there. Breakfast served in the garden, lunch and dinner served in the dining room, just for us, since we were the only guests present during our time there. All was delicious. Attentive host, gave us a tour of the farm, suggested other places of interest. Our driver stayed in a place nearby.
