This year's birthday caught up with the weekend, I hope to play in the suburbs, I chose Chongqing Melia Hotel, the hotel environment is definitely the first echelon of all five-star hotels in Chongqing, and it is very good-looking with a shoot, the hotel is opened in 2021, all the facilities are maintained very well, the most surprising thing is that the Spanish restaurant inherited the Spanish ancestry of Melia Group. Simple, clean, with a hint of subtle class. Jessi Fang at the reception was exceptional; always available and proactive in helping out with inquiries and solutions. She saved us a trip downtown by helping us book our exit flights to Guangzhou at a great discount. She even helped book my wife’s onward flight to Berlin painstakingly and without fuss. Her colleague, Evan Song was also very helpful and kind with a smile. Breakfast (included in our booking) was pretty standard with a generous helping of fruit, cereal, baked goods and Chinese cuisine (didn’t have an issue with the choices because I enjoy Chinese food). Dinner at the restaurant was also affordable, and we were usually over-filled. The concierge and Aayi (didn’t catch their names) at the restaurant were also helpful. All together, we really enjoyed our stay here, and will repeat next time we’re in Chongqing.

As mentioned in the other comments the host and his wife are super welcoming, friendly and helpful. I was there for only one afternoon and he told me while offering coffee in their coffee place, what I could do to make the best out of my time- which I did. Rooftop terrace has amazing views - common area great.

The location of the hotel is literally perfect. You have everything you would need all in a radius of 200 meters. The room was clean, exactly like on the pictures and they refill water, tea, new toothbrush and toiletpaper every day. The staff is really sweet and nice, even though the language barrier can be difficult. But they have their own translation apps ready when you arrive for questions. They also gave me a free room upgrade and lengthend my checkout time when i got sick on the last day. Literally a 10/10 hotel. Would reccommend over and over.

An awesome spot with a Japanese vibe – I truly felt like I had stepped into the world of Kung Fu Panda! Even the Japanese-style toilet was a unique experience. I absolutely loved their cozy little bar, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the center, with everything super easy to reach.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the view was superb! The location is the best and have access to all places I'd like to visit, also easy to find the public transportation.
