We had a lovely stay in the Hare and Hounds. The room is charming and has recently been redecorated. It's very tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The pub is also very nice, with a contemporary feel. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the pub, and we found both excellent. Staff is friendly, the service was good, and I would say both accommodation and food are very good value for money. The location is good, with parking at the front. We also found some nice paths to walk our dogs in the surroundings. The dog friendliness is very much appreciated by us dog owners! A big thank you to the team in the Hare and Hounds for their kindness, and warm and welcoming service.

Tracy is an exceptionally happy and welcoming hostess, I felt at home the moment she opened the door. The bedroom was beautiful and very clean with a beautiful view. The shower was brilliant. After a delicious breakfast I found it hard to leave :) Thank you, Tracy!

Couldn't fault this little Gem, and the Hosts were fabulous and so understanding. I have quite a few health issues and when I had a bad turn early on and struggled to make checkout they were so attentive to my needs, honestly I can't recommend this place enough. It's beautiful.

    Our stay at The Craven Heifer was very good, the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Check in was very quick and easy despite the pub being very busy. Our evening meal was very good, and the service was prompt and very friendly as was breakfast the next morning. On the whole I would have no problem in recommending The Craven Heifer to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in a quiet location with exceptional food.

    Great location with lovely views. Large, comfortable and very clean room. Nice touches - dressing gowns, bottles of water, biscuits and an iron and ironing board. Service and food in restaurant was very good too.
