The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.

What lovely hosts! Interesting to chat to and interested in our trip. Made good suggestions as to where they thought we may enjoy, advising when we should book in advance. Great location at the top of the street. Never battled for parking. Our room was very pleasant and we were able to open the bedroom windows fully to get a breeze through the room. Breakfast was generous and very pleasant. Pre-booked time and order for breakfast the night before so there was no delay in being served. The sort of place you long to go back to. We certainly will! Oh and teddy bears on the beds are a lovely touch!

The lodge is very comfortable, clean and well organised. The staff were all really friendly, and everything we needed was provided for us. The rooms were also spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect for walking around Windermere and its surroundings. The communication was also really helpful. We walked up Orrest Head thanks to the recommendation from the hosts - a lovely view at the top!

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hawksmoor Hotel. Pam and her team are extremely pleasant and helpful. The accomodation was spotless and very comfotable. The breakfast is superb. I had a wonderful stay at Oakdene Apartments! The location is ideal, nestled in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to local attractions and public transport. The apartment was spotless, stylishly furnished, and equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The host, an incredibly kind and charming lady, made the stay even more special with her warm hospitality and excellent local recommendations. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic short break with the house being in a brilliant location, and the parking permits were great. The bus service is regular and useful on a busy bank holiday weekend. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Having two living areas was also a bonus with older children. Overall the house is comfortable, convenient and affordable.
