It was very cosy with lovely bedrooms, a comfy couch, and a nice, big open kitchen but the best was the magnificent view. The hosts were really very friendly and we felt very welcome. The music in de local pub and the beautiful cliffealks at Bellycotton, Waterford and Ardmore made our holiday complete.

Our stay at Ardsallagh Lodge exceeded our expectations! The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and the house very accommodating. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland and Aniko's savoury scones were delicious. She was also very helpful with interesting suggestions what to visit in the area, as this was our first visit to Ireland. Both Aniko and her husband John were extremely welcoming and made us feel quite at home. This is a fantastic place, not to be missed.

Aherne's was fantastic. The rooms were enormous, clean and quiet. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the restaurant/bar was inviting, with fabulous food. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Very much worth staying there. Youghal is a sweet town, with a very interesting heritage.

    This was a great place to stay. We had to cancel our honeymoon due to the Aer Lingus strike and booked here last minute. The host Teresa is a gem and couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming to us. She is old school. The room was very clean and the bed was amazing. The location is excellent for exploring that part of the world but probably would be a stretch without a car. Overall it was an excellent experience and delighted to have spent our honeymoon here.

    Ideal location in a beautiful seaside area.nicely decorated, comfortable friendly staff.Enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast to order in the refurbished breakfast room.Very reasonably priced. WILL be back.good advice given for local walks.
