They had cheated us, after reached there they informed us that they don't have lights.... But before going there I called up them so many still they not informed us... They advice to take there friend homestay, which was completely located on wrost and dirty place... Rooms get smelling...they took full charge were we stayed for 3 hours only. Very clean, neat and comfortable room. The cleanliness was the same as Japanese hotels and it made the stay very comfortable. They provided a fluffy and warm blanket and an electric stove for free, so I was able to stay warm in the room even in the cold January. The front faces the street, but there are some security cameras installed, so I was relieved. The staffs, especially the son who can speak English, were very kind and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Goshen Homestay. Ksan is such a great host. We had good conversations with him and he provided good advice for sightseeing, well maintained scootys for rent, drinking water, hot shower, very clean and cosy rooms and even breakfast we got. So Ksan is really the heart of Goshen Homestay. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend to stay there! Thank you, Ksan, for the great time!

K J Homestay is in an excellent location in Sora. It’s just a few minutes’ walk away from the town centre where there are restaurants, small snack shops, groceries, the main taxi rank and the market. This position helps if you come during rainy days because you can quickly either get into town by foot or rush back from the centre to the homestay if need be. The homestay is in a quiet residential area, so it’s easy to get a good night’s sleep. The double bed is nice and large and although some people may feel the mattress could be softer, being tired from the day’s activities meant I had a sound sleep. There’s a separate attached toilet with hot water for a shower. The main room with the bed has a table, a small sofa and an easy chair, which allowed me to relax when I was indoors. Freddie, the proprietor, was very helpful. When I arrived in Sohra, he came to the centre to pick me up in his car and help me carry the bags into the property. Another time, after kindly volunteering to arrange a taxi to Arwah Cave, the annual taxi driver’s meeting occurred, which meant no taxis would run in the morning. Freddie then kindly drove me to the cave, even though he must have been busy. During my stay, he came to check if everything was fine and if I needed anything. K J Homestay is good value for the price I paid. I was particularly happy about the assistance from Freddie, which helped make my stay a success.
