We were two mates on a motorcycle trip and had booked accommodation at Castrum for one night. We received an incredibly warm welcome from the hostess and enjoyed good wine and a lovely view. The rooms were also very good. The wine tasting in the bistro was not quite as expected, but the rest was great. We would love to go back here!

The location is amazing on top of a small hill with a pleasant restaurant. We had a young lady as our host, she was very kind and helpfull. The beds were good, the rooms clean, good breakfast. I would reccomend this place to everyone and will surely come back!

This place is an absolute gem — a peaceful retreat tucked away in the heart of the vineyards. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the atmosphere is quiet, and we slept like children. The property is modern and well-maintained, with excellent air conditioning for hot summer days. With only two rooms available for rent, the experience feels intimate, serene, and exclusive. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was delightful. The entire property feels like a small oasis surrounded by vineyards, offering total relaxation. We ended up staying longer than planned. The owner, a passionate vineyard owner himself, gave us a fantastic personal tour of the estate. He also shared great recommendations for local restaurants and experiences, which we truly appreciated. This is the perfect base for exploring the Valpolicella region — full of delicious food, renowned wineries, and beautiful sights. They also offer electric bikes for rent, making it even easier to enjoy the surroundings at your own pace.

    The hosts Laura and Massimo are very kind and give you all necessary information about Verona and the surroundings. The house is newly reconstructed and refurbished, very clean and the interior is modern designed. Breakfast is home made by Laura, I jzst lived her cakes and buns. We will come back for sure!

    Fantastic place! Lovely location, fantastic view. Modern, large, comfortable and very nice rooms. Very well decorated. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast and great to eat on the lovely terrace with the view. Loved the bistro. Good bistro food (efficiency of service had improvement potential, but waiters were very friendly).
