Such a beautiful homestay in Tansen! Janaki, Dhani and Indu were amazing hosts, so friendly, funny, kind and genuine - they really made us feel at home. The food was amazing, we had delicious omlette and banana pancakes with local honey for breakfast and ate Dahl bhat both nights with the family, also delicious! We also did the city walking tour with Janaki which was really informative and helped us see some places we would never find by ourselves. We stayed in the balcony room which was very clean and cosy and the balcony had an amazing view over Tansen and the hills. Thank you Horizon Homestay family!

Amazing view and very quiet place located in a perfect spot in the village. Tansen is super colourful and full of life, full of stories and magnificent temples. Suriya and his family are so welcoming and kind, really made me feel at home! Both are super knowledgeable about the history of the region and the Hindu culture, and we had a lot of good conversations together! Food was excellent as well! I would highly recommend staying for few days and enjoying the Nepali village magic.

This was the best stay we've had in Nepal. The daughter Jenni is an English teacher and was on holidays at the time of our visit so we got the chance to spend quite some time with her. We learned a lot from her and we also cooked crêpes and dhal bat together. Rooms have everything you need and each has their own lovely outdoor space. Thank you Jenni, we'll remember you

Kamal is a very friendly and helpful host. He offers different kind of day trips as you wish and as he proposes. Very lively family atmosphere. I can only recommend that homestay with its fantastic view over Tansen 😍
