(Summer holiday). Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

Everything looks very nice around Engelberg, including this super cozy and well-located hotel. I’d stay there again for sure. No complains. Also the self check-in/out was very convenient and easy to do.
