My hosts, Léa and João, were absolutely wonderful. They welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived, with genuine kindness and a sense of caring that made me feel instantly at ease. João is a guide, ask him for hikings! I also want to highlight the friendliness of every person I met in the area—they were open, warm, and made this journey feel safe and connected. At night, I would gaze up at the stars from my cozy funco—the sky, completely free of light pollution, felt like a universe unfolding just for me.

His name was Du Santos and he was really really a nice guy. During the trip he learned us a little bite Kreol and told us something about Fogo. Katya is very welcoming, cooks very (very very) well and takes care of her client like no one did in Cap Verde. We have spent 2 weeks in Cabo Verde and haven’t met anyone that kind, welcoming and helpful. The place is also amazing. Out of nowhere, facing the sea, natural swimming pool… you name it! Katya also offers a few options to discover Fogo island like pico de fogo.

It is better than the pictures.There's always a breeze from the sea, the pool is refreshing, the view of the volcano and the sea at the same time just stunning. Pipi and her family/team are perfect hosts. We are vegetarians and didn't expect much, then we had three super nice dinners and the most beautiful breakfasts with lots of possibilities. Really hope to go back there some day.

The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!
