Room was small but bed was comfortable with very warm linens, nice hot shower, super clean and great location (right next to the church). We also paid extra for breakfast (25 lari per person), a bit steeper than other places but makes sense considering how remote the village is and there was a huge amount of delicious homemade food! We asked for directions on which road to drive to get to the guesthouse which I’d recommend - do not drive through the town, go around. Very much recommend!!

Hotel Lumi’s owners, Michael & Nino and their family, were very accommodating, friendly and immediately responded to our inquiries & requests! They made sure of our comfort & helped with anything we needed: carrying our luggages up & down the stairs, to/from our room, & helping with our transport to the bus station & next destination. Hotel Lumi is fairly new, as such, everything is super clean, very spacious, beautiful huge closet, a table & 2 chairs, 2 of the most comfortable beds ever & cleanest and warmest bed linens!!!! It even has towel warmer in the bathroom & an A/C-Heating unit besides the heater by the window!!! Nino cooked us 2 fabulous breakfast, extra charge. There’s even a restaurant in front of the hotel, shopping mall & grocery stores within 10-minute walk. Hotel Lumi is the best private accommodation we’ve ever had in Georgia - fr Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, & Mestia so far!

Giorgi and his dad are nice, friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home since the first minute! The house has everything you might need and more, it’s well located and super clean. Would definitely recommend this accomodation to everyone, and we’ll definitely repeat whenever we visit Zugdidi again!

You can see whole Mestia valley and mountains around. It takes about 15 minutes by foot to get there from center of Mestia.

This is such a lovely guest house. The owner Taona is the sweetest woman & although she doesn’t speak English you can communicate & feel her warmth. Both her children speak good English. Her breakfasts are amazing. Home cooked, plentiful, varied & so delicious. We had a comfortable triple room at the back with a view up to the hill behind with cows & horses grazing. It is a small farm with a lovely rural feel just outside the town of Mestia so very peaceful. There is a great restaurant in the town which Taona recommended. We had good walks & drove to Ushguli which was beautiful. I woukd 100% Recommend this guest house & it’s very good value. Thank you Taona. ❤️

Ana made our stay wonderful she was so helpful and so informative out of all the hotels we stayed in Gorgia she was best receptionist.
