The property was great and the air con worked well! There was enough privacy as we were round the corner from the house. The family were really lovely and kind people and they made us very welcome. They also both spoke very good English. They cooked a very delicious breakfast which we LOVED. They also kindly rented us bikes and drove us to Arugam bay at the end of our stay for a very good price. Thanks!

We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. The food was good too.

Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

Prior to our arrival, Joseph connected with us to find out if we had any special requirements. Stemming from that, dinner was to be arranged for us on arrival. On the day, we received a pin (location) and WiFi codes. Joseph connected with us to get an idea about arrival time. Upon arrival, we were made to feel so welcome. The rooms had been cooled down in advance and the entire unit was spotless. Dinner was served on time. The food was home made and outstanding! We really enjoyed the local pittu and prawn curry. Dinner was priced at Rs. 2000/- for two generous portions. We had a restful sleep and were able to get everything we needed ready for our day ahead in the well-equipped kitchenette. Our only regret is that we could only spend one night at this charming, cozy abode as we had to head out. We will be back!

AHSRAM Accommodations está en Pasikuda, a 5 min a pie de Playa de Kalkudah y a 400 metros de Sri Muththu Mariyamman Kovil. The family was so beautiful, the room was very big and comfortable beds, great location with a short stroll to the beach, the family made us a lovely curry dinner one night which i highly recommend. TIP: the sunrise hotel which is just down the road let's you swim in the amazing big pool for the day if you rent a sun bed off them. It was 2000 rupiah per person and we also had lunch there.
