A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

The chalets are spacious, modern and super clean, the bathrooms were huge as well. The courtyard had also a great vibe with the sand and the palm trees providing some shade. The staff were super friendly and accommodating - we also had breakfast here and coffee, both were great choices.

The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

Kitelantis provides lagoon front accommodation in Kalpitiya. Among the various facilities of this property are a water sports facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. The property provides lagoon views. The staff are the best! Specially the manager Jessie, so nice to talk to and helped us with everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also lovely. Location is amazing, if you want a very beach jungle vibe this is the place. The pool bar was probably my favourite. Oh and if you want to go to the beach you go by boat, just a couple of minutes. Almost no tourist around.

The breakfast and the food were amazing. People were very nice and helpful and they also arranged taxi services.

We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I've visited plenty of hotels in Sri Lanka but here i had the most warm welcome. I stayed in cabana which made in traditional rural style. All nessesary facillities (fan, moscito net, privet bathroom) were there. Host Prasanna is amazing and empathetic person. He always helped us with all our reqests but on the same time he wasn't intrusive. Besides, I’d like to mention good value for money, convenient location (10 minutes to beach by foot and 5 minutes by watersport lagoon by tuk-tuk) and delicious (non spicy!) traditional food.
