The airport pickup worked perfectly, and we received a very warm welcome with flower garlands, which we truly appreciated. The accommodation was spotless and new. We especially loved having free bicycles at our disposal, which made exploring the island so convenient. The small, charming terrace and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked perfectly as well, ensuring a comfortable stay. The drop-off at the airport was just as smooth and well-organized. I would book here again without hesitation. Es un chalecito precioso, muy cerca de la playa, de los restaurantes, del punto donde se ven los delfines... todo está muy nuevo, limpio y cuidado con mucho cariño. La casita tiene su cocina y dos baños y su propia terracita. Pero lo meior es la familia que lo lleva y que vive al lado. El matrimonio y su hija me hicieron sentir en casa en todo momento. Hasta me invitaron dos veces a su propia comida. Tuve unas conversaciones con ellos muy bonitas y repetiría, sin dudarlo, si regreso a Rangiroa. Un entorno y un ambiente muy especial la isla y Kura Ora. Además, hablaban inglés, lo que hizo más bonito y facil todo. Gracias, querida familia del Kura Ora y mucha suerte!

Extremely comfortable accommodation, which was planned and built by my host. So amazing to have aircon and a beautiful power shower. Everything is new and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and the best pillow in French Polynesia! Very quiet, peaceful location. Just 2 minutes walk through palm trees to a most stunning beach, which is actually next to probably the most expensive hotel in Rangiroa! Very kind, considerate hosts. Upon arrival I was festooned with a garland of sweet-smelling flowers. That evening, my hosts and their daughter presented me with a very welcome bowl of fruit and a plate of smoked fish. There is also fresh drinking water available. One evening I was dropped off in the dark at the wrong location by the dive company. A quick message to my host and he came and picked me up. Another day he invited me to come to the harbour with him to see the visiting nurse sharks. To our amazement a huge hammerhead also paid us a visit! After checkout I had a 4 hour wait which I was able to spend on the terrace under cover from the fierce sun. It was magical to spend time in one of the swinging chairs. My host promised me that he would say goodbye to me at the airport. True to his word, he suddenly appeared just as I was about to board the plane.

Gorgeous property, very kind hostess who let us take the bikes for a spin until the room was ready when we arrived early from our flight. Loved that they provided kayaks, bikes and also things like mosquito spray was super sweet. Great location on the lagoon.

Jeannine lodge is a very cosy and intimate bungalow located just on a small private beach, with beautiful colors. The bungalow has a terrace from which you can see fishes and sharks passing by while you’re relaxing. It’s very quiet and you can really enjoy spending time there. Jeannine and her family are so kind and helpful, they put at your dispolas everything you need: food and everything needed for cooking, bycicles and their beautiful smiles. If I coud I would put more than 10. I preferred this to any of those big luxury resorts. This is a real hidden gem!
