Vinland Guesthouse offers compact but very practical accommodation, the place is very warm and comfortable. We were the only guests staying at that time and had the many many birds in the surrounding countryside providing a delightful soundtrack to our holiday. Personally I also loved the geothermal hot water in the shower. Oh, and the views at sunset, gorgeous pink on the snowy mountains. Loved it!

Absolutely amazing. The accommodation is beautiful, set next to the lake and mountains. Perfect views and magical sunset/sunrise. The dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also delicious. Truly a wonderful property and would highly highly recommend.

The house is situated next to the lake, in a quiet area, which makes it a great choice for a perfect sunset and sunrise. We even went for a run on the hills behind the house, this is how like at home we felt. It is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, the beds are super comfortable and everything felt so cozy. I would definitely stay here again. Hope to see you soon!

The place is definitely a piece of gem, it was beautiful, location is close to egil nearby city for supplies and really quiet. It was also by the lake and you could sit by the full window and relax at the end of the day, recommend to check in slightly before sunset to enjoy a glass of wine to relax before heading for dinner.

Beautiful location, far away from town next to a lovely river. Includes a fully functional bbq-grill. Spacious rooms and veranda.

Comfortable bed, quiet location, cozy cottage, private kitchen and no queue, hot showers, shared showers and toilets in separated rooms -> not blocked together, friendly staff, horses can be visited, stayed 2 nights but would like to have enjoyed more time there

My wife and I slept here one night on our way through Iceland. We really liked the cottage. Exact instructions on how to get to the cottage, equipment, heat, hot shower, beautiful views. Everything was great, we are sorry that we arrived at midnight and left in the morning. Maybe we'll come back here again.
