GermanyThis place is EXTREMELY isolated! If you are looking for an experience like no other this is YOUR place. Four wheel drive is REQUIRED to get through the deep sand en route to the lodge. The staff was exceptionally welcoming! The food was unsurpassed anywhere in Namibia and the sole fish was the absolute best in Namibia….moist and flavorfu! We were there in Winter and it was chilly but bearable. Walking near the seal colonies was an unforgettable experience. Listening to the seals the entire night with the balcony door open was unforgettable. This is THE place to get away “from it all” and just relax. I could have sat in a beach chair and watched the surf, seals, seagulls and jackals for an hour. The owner’s dogs will adopt you too! I have been to 63 countries and never experienced a hotel like this until this visit.
