Unlike any other accommodation I’ve stayed in before, this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. Fully immersed in nature - the surroundings and sounds, it was a treat to be away from city life. The little bamboo hut was comfortable and the owners made me feel most comfortable with tips and help. Grateful to have experienced this!

D downhill'Place está a pocos pasos de Playa de Tan-awan y ofrece jardín y terraza, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. The owner is very kind and honest. I feel like I could trust her out of the other locals I encountered. Her husband gave me a ride from the Sumillion Island Resort. She also asked a security (her neighbor) to drop me back at the hotel. She is so nice because I was not charged for the rides. The bed is soft and room just really great for solo traveling.

Native Villa with Pool at Kalumo Lodge se encuentra en Oslob y ofrece alojamiento con piscina privada y wifi gratis. We loved everything about this villa! The views are stunning, the private infinity pool is amazing, and the place is beautifully decorated with a mix of local style and modern comfort. It was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect-quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive to whale shark tours, Tumalog Falls, and local restaurants. The bar on the property is just a short walk from the villa and serves really good drinks. The host was super friendly and helpful. Honestly, one of the best stays we've ever had.

Anza Cabin at Threesome Cafe, que tiene vistas a la ciudad, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 13 km de Ayala Center Cebu. The cabin is situated on top of a hill, offering excellent views of the city and fresh air. At night, you could hear crickets, and you could see fireflies. The air is blowing cold, and it's nice to sit on the patio while sipping tea or drinking beer. The porch has a nice view of the city lights at night or even in the day (if good weather permits). The cabin is like a small house with a kitchenette, fridge, and living space. There is an Internet TV inside this house that you can enjoy for some entertainment. The bed is comfortable and pleasant to sleep on. There is no air conditioning in this house, but you don't need it. At night, it's cold for us, but it's enough to help us fall asleep. There is a fan, however, if you want to add some additional breeze. If you love nature hiking, there are lots of lovely views around, you could walk to Sachiko Little Kyoto or even Soul Sierra - do it on a day and not at night (the roads could be dark). The Threesome Cafe also has its own very nice camping ground, situated with a direct view of the city. The other things we love are the value we get for the price we pay - we have complimentary breakfast (delicious pancakes), free complimentary on board the cabin (free coffee, tea, and noodles). Honestly, things like this are rare in Cebu City! Lastly, they have fantastic customer service, and the hosts and crew are friendly people to be around!
