Definitely the most impressive mountain hotel I have ever been. Everything was on the highest level, from the views from the windows, room design, bathroom, tub inside living room to kindness of the staff, sauna, breakfast. It is not cheap, but it is worth every money!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Great selection of food for breakfast and dinner, excellent location with breathtaking views, beach in front of the hotel, staff friendly, nice and kind. The location- looks a bit remote, but every walk feels like a hike. The staff was amazing! They looked after me and my kids all the time! The hotel has quite a nice pool and sauna- which was unexpected, but really wellcome on a rainy day The garden is also super nice. The atmosphere was so homey and warm!

The reception staff was very welcoming, with a smile and a lot of patience, they explained carefully how everything works in the hotel from the garage to the breakfast and the SPA. The room was spacious, with all amenities you may need and extremely clean. The cleaning ladies, very lovely greet you with a smile and are all over cleaning all day, impressive. The SPA was wonderful, starting from the pool area to the sauna and steam bath, everything was perfect! I will for sure turn back again there.

    A beautiful small lake nestled in the mountains. The area offers many activities and also the possibility to just chill and relax. It is a great place to spend your whole vacation or to use as your launching pad to enjoy the Salzkammergut area.

    Hotel has traditional Austrian ambiance and heritage. It is perfectly located with its own private access to the wonderful, clean lake. The buffet breakfasts offer many choices of fresh, traditional cuisine. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and many have view to the lake or a quiet pretty street. The staff is very profesional and friendly. We will certainly be coming back and highly recommending this hotel.

    Charming cottage in Altaussee with a very homely feel and a very nice host with a very fluffy dog. The apartment was comfortably large, clean and equipped with all necessities. A ski room was available with an accessible plug for electric boot warmers.
