Breakfasts are wonderful, Prosecco and coffee served during the breakfast are delicious. Very cozy rooms. Also, everyday you can enjoy snacks for free. Dinners are varied and insanely delicious. Staff is very caring. Big and free parking. Ski lift is located in 1 minute walk. I did not expect that in 4 stars I will receive impeccable service, wonderful food and an ideal location. On the first day I extended my stay and booked another weekend at the hotel

For me and my son it was a perfect ski holiday. The Hotel was exactly what we hoped for. Friendly staff and everyone was very helpful. The Check In and Check Out was easy. Our room was of a good size with a nice balcony and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the nice swimming and wellness Area after a day of skiing. The food was really good and to use the words of my son:" The best I had in a Hotel." Also the location is a super big plus of this Hotel. It is right there next to the Gondola. It has a parking garage and since you are so close to the ski area you can keep the car there the entire time of your holidays.

A wonderful hotel. The hostess of the hotel is very attentive, she paid attention to all the guests at Christmas, took us to a city performance, treated us to hot drinks. Everything in the hotel is organized perfectly. Very clean. 5 minutes walk to the ski lift. The ski resort is the best of all in this region. We will definitely come back.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Using our hire car we were only a short ride away from the Hinter tux glacier ski lifts. This friendly, family run hotel provides exceptional food throughout the day with a comprehensive and healthy breakfast, a buffet in the afternoon of both savoury and sweet snacks, ending with a 5 course evening meal with plenty of choice. We greatly appreciated the excellent facilities of the spa with both indoor and outdoor infinity pool.

We had a wonderful time in Tirol, and it wasn’t just the nature that made our stay memorable—it was also the exceptional hospitality at Hotel Jäger. The wellness area and indoor pool provided perfect relaxation after active days outdoors. And in the evening we can play table tennis or calceto. The last but not least, I would like to mention the cuisine. The dinner was incredible every evening. Thanks a lot.

    Ski runs in Tux a bit short, but in general area is big and beautiful, also there are massive Zillertal Arena and Hintertux Glacier ski areas near by. We were traveling by car (there are also ski busses), so visited all nearby skiing locations (you may buy one skipass which will cover all of them). Also I'd recommend great Spa/pool facilities - Erlebnistherme Zillertal

    I prefer privacy, I do not need to be in the city/village center, so for me the location was perfectly suitable. I enjoy the quiet mountains. If you want to be closer to restaurants, pubs, wellness, you should select accommodation in some of the villages down the valley.

    This is my 6th or 7th stay in Tux and I am always surprised...

    This is my 6th or 7th stay in Tux and I am always surprised with the scenery and how friendly the locals are. Every local on the street in the town will give you "Servus!" even if they don't know you. Also, the food here is amazing, everything!

    Incredible scenery, tranquil and peaceful surrounded by tall snowy mountains. Great hotels and exceptional food service where I stayed. Greet for skiing all 365 days a year. Long runs and good variety.

    Beautiful mountains, wonderful view at the glacier from almost every point. Very good infrastructure for tourists. But you allways have to check the opening hours and even opening days of restaurants, because many of them cooks only at particular hours. But i think this apply for whole Austria :) We visited twice the restaurant Tuxer Grillkuchl in part of Tux called Lanersbach. The food was very quicky served, very tasty and they have awesome salad bar. Also the waitresses have been very friendly, always asking if everything was OK. With your stay in (i think) every accomodation facility comes a Guest card, which allows you to use the local bus for free! The river Tuxbach is incredibly clean and the walk by the water is very beautiful!

    Well located nice place close to Hintertux on one side and Eggalm on the other side. There are shops and other facilities with everything necessary - bakery, souvenirs, sport equipment, farmacy, food, restaurants, banks, post office... Perfect place.

    This place was very conveniently located and had plenty of room for us (4 adults and 2 children). The place was clean, had good facilities and friendly owners. Also convenient for the skibus to get to the Skilifts at the Hintertuxer glacier and Rastkogelbahn/Eggalmbahn.

    I like the location (one village from Hintertux resort up and Zilletal ski area down by fee ski bus). Accommodation was OK, room a bit basic but clean. As I came for skiing and not spending time in the room I did not mind.
