Its a small town that offers delicious Pub meals . We ate at The American , a hotel with a fantastic bistro.
Its close to Daylesford, close to Clunes and even Ballarat.
We explored Hanging Rock at Woodend, the Sunday market and the Mill markets in Daylesford.
Trentham Falls are well worth a visit

What a lovely tranquil setting to just unwind for a couple of days, Very quaint property, nicely appointed, well done. To the young lady at the Hotel where we picked up the key, thank you, very welcoming.
A bit light on in the cutlery & crockery side otherwise very good. lovely Green tea in the drawer, the real stuff, not tea dust in a bag but no tea pot to brew it in, I used the kettle, it worked.

Beautiful little town with excellent facilities; parks, hotels/pubs, bakeries, etc. The team in the information centre were friendly and provided great ideas for activities for our weekend. We had our bikes and were surprised to find an excellent bike park with fun tracks for beginners through to advanced riders. Plenty of walking tracks also. There's some top class tennis courts if that's your thing - byo racket/balls. Did a driving tour of the mining history around the region - great information boards and scenic drive. Enjoyed the flour mill in Smeaton and the wool mill in Creswick.

Lovely location and accommodation.
Lovely location and accommodation. Management needs to update internet information. Great place for a weekender. Do not miss the Woolen Mill or the lake both worth a visit. Both pubs serve excellent food and Smokytown cafe serve excellent breakfasts.

Accomodation was perfect.
Accomodation was perfect. Modern, comfortable and very clean. Very reasonably priced.
A warning for future guests, don't rely on Google Maps to take you there! Instead read the perfectly clear instructions supplied when you pick up the keys. (We didn't, and spent a frustrating 2 hours driving up and down rutted country roads.)

The cleanliness blown me away. Host provided surprise goodies as welcome gifts. The items selected were very well thought. The amenities selection from the hosts made me speechless. Ten times better than staying at the five star hotel. The bed linen, mattresses, pillows are amazingly meeting the 5 star hotel quality. I am speechless. Never thought this would beat the 5 star hotel quality. My very first time and wow!
We were in Creswick for a family event and the house was great. Clean, comfortable and in an ideal location on a quiet street close to the main st. We had a great time playing some of the board games in the house.
I'd definitely stay again.
House was clean and well equipped, everything we required was there plus more. Was located very close to the venue we were attending Creswick Tennis club.
Was a very pleasant stay.

Lovely room, clean and comfortable. We were at a wedding in Blampied and it was a great location as not too far away.
Walking distance to places to eat in Creswick.
