This accomodation so unique, clean and beautiful. Stay in the tram. My kids so love it. Owner so kind and friendly, once we reach there, they will greet us and introduce us each part of the tram. I cannot describe the uniqueness of this accomodation because you cannot found it at other places in Melbourne or Australia maybe. I really love it. And miss you Coco. We liked the rural aspect of the town.

We liked the rural aspect of the town. As we came for a private function, we didn't have any time to explore the local attractions. As we have been there before we have seen some of the area. I particularly liked travelling up Mt Dandenong to Olinda for the eateries and the gift shops. We found that we needed a car to get around.

Lilydale is a beautiful town with an abundance of cafes & other eateries & in close proximity to wineries & other tourist spots. We attended a concert @ Rochford Winery which was only a 15 minute drive from our accommodation.

Lilydale has a great Lake for walking, having picnics and BBQ’s. It has a great play area for kids and is great to watch the sunset. It also has a strip of shops with restaurants and is a great place to stay and visit the Yarra Valley and the numerous wineries. It’s not to far from Maroondah Dam and Healesville and surrounds

Convenience was great. However Smokers outside our door prevented us from leaving door open for fresh air as no opening windows in room . People below had noisy kids and 2 dogs playing in carpark. Air conditioning was very noisy all night.

We had no prior knowledge of the facility but though it would suit our requirements for an overnight stay as we were attending a function reasonably close by. It was not that straight forward to find but google maps helped and having been there we would find it easier on the next occasion. We were greeted by a very happy receptionist who gave clear and precise information. The section we were accommodated in showed some age on the outside but was excellent on the inside with a large living/bedroom, with an extremely large and comfortable bed. There were all the requirements to make a hot beverage and a microwave oven. The refrigerator was stocked with milk. The bathroom area was also very large and well appointed. There was an afterhours security system in operation after 9.00pm to access the facility which gave a sense of security. Generally, we felt it was a comfortable stay and would consider staying there in the future.

The motel (Econo Lodge ) was accessed off the Maroondah Highway, although the address was Maroondah Highway. Signage was not visible, so easy to miss where to turn to enter. Hilly in Lilydale, not good for walking when you are not used to hills. Our accomodation was a good walk from the supermarker/shops/ We had an evening meal at the hotel. That was very good, but not that many other alternatives we could find.

The location was perfect, easy to find and after such a long drive we didn’t have to contend with the Melbourne traffic as the motel is towards the end of Lilydale. We also enjoyed the walk into Lilydale to the shops. Also, there is a garage just across the road and easy to fill up before leaving. The staff greeted us with a smile and very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend your motel and would return ourselves. Thank you.

It was a clean, modern room. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. At the same time, the beds and room were comfortable and very clean. It is very well located in the township of Lilydale and only a 10-minute drive to Healesville. It was exceptional value for money.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a hotel! The property itself was beautiful and quiet and the room was a great size. I wish we had been able to stay longer but we had to get up and leave super early to get on the road.
