Went to Burntcoat Head Park at low tide followed by watching...
Went to Burntcoat Head Park at low tide followed by watching the bore tide at the South Maitland Bore Station. Friendly staff at both sites and the Fundy bay tide was well shown by visiting both sites!

Truro is a charming town.
Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed.
We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much.
It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance.
Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!

Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away...
Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town much

The fact that we could walk to a restaurant not far from the Inn rather than drive was great. It was a perfect walking distance. Wait staff were pleasant and lobster rolls were the best we have ever had. The cheesecake we had was delicious. The Nook and Cranny had the option to eat in or on the patio. Lovely evening so we opted to sit out.This morning had a great walk in Victoria Park and the people who work there were polite and friendly.

We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one...
We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one night before departing early the next morning for our destination in New Brunswick. Truro was a convenient overnight stop. We did not spend time much time in Truro.

This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!
I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food....
I don't recommend it to anyone!

From the moment I arrived, the cleanliness of the entire hotel was evident. The lobby, bathrooms, and our room were mostly spotless.
I felt very safe during my stay, and the staff made sure I was well catered to throughout. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a fantastic fresh-made omelet station that added a special touch to the morning.
Overall, my stay at Glengarry Extended Stays was well worth it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in need of accommodations in Truro.

Good location for us in Truro as we were doing the tidal bore rafting with the Shubie River Wranglers, 20 min drive away. We spent the day swimming in the pool at Victoria Parc. Had nice pizza for dinner by the pool at the motel. Nice breakfast set us up for the day.

The location is good for access to the trans Canada Highway and to central Truro. Room and bed were on the small side but comfortable. Breakfast was superb.
