The problem was that the owner was in hospital when we...
The problem was that the owner was in hospital when we arrived, and we had not been advised of anything. So we had to find somewhere else. Then Booking tells us that the owner would be there the next day (doubtful given she had an infectious disease), while we had already booked somewhere else for our stay. Booking then had the temerity to charge us for the two nights we were not there. No point in resisting - a bit like Easy Jet, easy to order, a nightmare to get reimbursed.
